Getting in that pool everyday and pretend running for upwards of 45 minutes sucks the big one. Yes, that one.Please. Give me your most favorite song on your iPod. I've had 'Pavement Cracks (Mac Quayle Extended Mix)' by Annie Lennox on several models of MP3 players over the years, and it is a go-to running song for me. Make sure it's that specific mix, as there are several versions of the song, some of which are way too slow for a runner's mix.Also, in terms of entertaining Podcasts that make the time pass quickly, I regularly listen to the 'Sklarbro Country' podcast by the Sklar brothers. I've had to stop running on occasion from laughing so hard.

Maybe you'll learn something.7) There are not rocks, stumps, curbs or other obstacles inthe pool.
You are not longer a danger to yourself. You can even run with your eyes close (Note resist the urge to fall asleep.)8) One rarely encounters rattlesnakes while pool running.9) If you hop in immediately following a bike session you get to call it a P-run10) If you can mentally endure two hours of water running, your next Ironman marathon will feel short.Enjoy!
